Cale Good injuredFor those of you who didn't hear Cale Good was injured during the relays in Las Vegas. First diagnosis
was a broken kneecap but after an MRI today he was found to have his quad muscle separated from the knee. Surgery was
done today and he is expected a full recovery in 6-8 months. Until then I will just be
working his rope pull and making him do some one legged dummy drags. I will try to update his progress as it happens.

2009 Worlds in Las VegasFirst let me apologize about the delay in getting this post out. I had planned on doing a day by day update from
Vegas. Unfortunately the Golden Nugget charges an extra 15 dollars a day for internet access. Now super 8 in St
Louis has free internet access but the Golden Nugget of Vegas has to charge for it? Not to mention they charge 20.00
for hotel guest to use the hotel fitness center? I refuse to pay...
But now onto the competition.
The team did well on the qualifying day with some fast times on an average course putting us right in the mix of the top teams
going into the finals night. Then finals night came and the bottom fell out. A combination of mental errors and
stumbles caused the majority of the team to come away with good but not great times. There was an exception though and
that was John Healey. He stepped up his game both runs in Vegas and dropped a 1:36.17 and a 1:35.47 on finals night
breaking his own personal record twice!!!!!! The team finished 8th in the world overall but feels bitter sweet about
the accomplishment. It is funny how something that would have made us dance all night 2 years ago now doesn't seem
like enough. Thanks for all the support from everyone this year. Woolery's family has been at more events
then most our team members. Kimnach's and Cale's family's attend multiple events and once again had members
out in Vegas. Healey's and Schuka's wives both patiently sit and watch a housefull of kids while I drag their
husbands out to play. Cale's wife Andrea has filmed all our runs and helped us learn from our many mistakes.
And last but certainly not least my wife sits at home 9+ months pregnant with her legs crossed trying to wait until I get
home to have our first born.. Thank you all without you our team would not exist. So we will enjoy
the weekend and then training starts Monday..........
