Rapid City 2010Rapid City hosted a great event this last weekend. Weather and crowd both turned out good. The
team was able to grab 4 of the top ten individual spots- including 1st and 2nd. We also took home the gold in the team,
relay and tandem. Improvements looked steady in the route to Worlds this year. Our next
team event will be the Omaha regional Labor Day weekend.

Road to Grand National ChampionshipJohn Woolery has had a big two weeks in his quest for the Grand National Championship. Two weeks ago
John took third place in Tucson and last weekend he won the gold in Colorado Springs. John has already hit 4 of the
7 competitions this year finishing in the top ten at each and medalling at 3 of them. Next week he goes to Greenville
Tx and we expect this streak to continue.

John Woolery and the quest for Grand National ChampionshipFirst I have to apologize to Woolery for taking so long to post that in May he went out to Massachusetts
and grabbed the 3rd place individual and second place tandem with local John Deforest. Now
John has the next three U.S. events on his schedule Tucson, Colorado Springs, and Greenville TX. Then after three weeks
in a row of the U.S. course he is heading up to Canada to try out a firefit event. Make
us proud John... Sub 90 or bust..

First competition complete- One more first place for the teamSome might think driving 12 hours one way, competing for less than 2 minutes each, then driving 12 hours
home is crazy. But a little less crazy when you bring home some gold medals. This weekend the team drove out to
Milford, OH and competed in the season opener for the firefighter challenge. Taking 3rd, 4th and 6th in the individuals
and first place in the overall team made the drive worth it. With only 3 team members
able to go we got though a field of around 70 firefighters to start the season right. It was great getting to meet and
run against the guys from Windsor Canada and to see Ross Mosher again. Some of team Metrx showed up to cheer us on,
which was nice but they were missed out on the course. Then the guys from Norfolk came out making a drive that was even
an hour longer than ours. Overall it was a good event and worth the drive.
John Woolery will be heading out to Marlborough Ma next in a few weeks then the team might head up to Rapid city. Thanks
for all the support from everyone..

Season 2010After a nice winter break the team is getting ready for our first competition of the year. A few of
us will be traveling to Milford, OH April 17th to compete in the season opener. Plans
are in the works to shoot the photos for the 2011 Calendar in June with publication in July and sales starting in August.
